I decided to make a Sari Wrapped Wire Bracelet. Something fun in Autumn colours. It's simple and basic but elegant and rustic!
I used Vintaj ribbon and 3mm melon beads
Here on the side as well as the Focal bead, I used Red Creek Jasper {a stone by many other names it seems} I wrapped them at the edge all the way around.
Here is the top view, you can see the edges well, how the beads are all along the outer edge.
Here is a major closeup of the side so you can see the soft texture of the Sari under the wire. This is simply luxurious with all the layers and deep rich Autumn colours.
Thanks so much for stopping by and please have a look at the other links in the Sari Blog Hop! I can't wait to see what everyone else made!

Fantastic Job Marie! I love everything about this bracelet. I especially love the wire wrap that you did. Beautiful piece!
This is beautiful! Wrapping the ribbon with wire would calm my fears about the ribbon unraveling on the edges. That's what keeps me from working with ribbon, but this method seems to address that potential. Great work! And yes, red creek jasper is such a gorgeous stone. Oregon Owhyee jasper is the name I use for it. I've also seen it listed as picasso jasper. Regardless of what name you use, it's one of my favorites!!
What an absolutely stunning bracelet! You've done a fantastic job of wire wrapping! And the colors are beautiful - I just love, love, love it!!
So nice Marie! Just like you said "simple and basic, but elegant and rustic". Just the way I like it.
Ohhhh, I am in love with your bracelet.
It is gorgeous!
I LOVE your bracelet!! I have one kinda sorta similar I started long ago but never finished. You may have inspired me to pick it up and get it done. Really beautiful!!
This is a really lovely bracelet. I love the colors and the wonderfully done wire wrapping!
Marie, this is so awesome...thank you so much for being part of the Sari Ribbon Party Blog Hop. I love the wrapping technique, the focal, the little beads. You have done a great job! Be sure to load your photo for the hop at B'sue Boutiques Creative Group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/bsueboutiques/ I know you are already a member!
Simple, earthy, plush. That is what I think of when I see this. You knocked it out of the park!
Enjoy the day!

I love this bracelet! I love the earthy colors and how you used the ribbon for the base of it. The beads wrapped on are a great touch (really makes it!), and the red creek jasper is divine with the ribbon! (one of my favorite stones). I don't generally care for sari ribbon, so I especially like what you did with it here, where all the frayed ends are tucked away (that's the thing that bothers me about sari). This makes me want to try something similar! it looks very comfortable. i don't think i've seen you use these colors much, you really have a feel for them.
Your colors and techniques are wonderful.
Lovely colours! I really like the earthy style and technique, mixing ribbon and wire. Great job!
Ooooooooh! Love this! Earthy and delicious! Such a beautiful and (as always) romantic piece! I love the jasper focal, so gorgeous!
Gorgeous Marie! What is the base for the bracelet, a bangle?
Ooooo Marie, make some more so you can wear a whole bunch on your arm at once. They would look fab together! I want some!
Interesting unusual design!
This is flat out beautiful and I would wear it in a New York minute!
Great photos, too!

Your bracelet is just divine!
What a simply beautiful design!
I love this bangle. The colors are amazing and the wire work is great too!
What an adorable bangle! I love the earthiness of it, and the little beads. Very cool!
this bracelet mad me think Earth, if you were trying to capture that feeling you more than succeeded. It is very impacting with your use of the monochromatic in all your elements.. I'd wear this in a heartbeat.
Marie, this bracelet is beautiful. I love the liberal use of the wire to wrap, and integrating the beads into it. Great color choice with the focal, too!
I certainly agree..."simply luxurious"! Love the earthy colors, so warm...I would definitely wear this! ;o)

I love the bangle. So fall, so beautiful.
Loving the contrast of the wire and the soft sari ribbon. Nice wearable piece! Thanks for partying with us.
You have tamed the Sari Ribbon! This is so pretty.
Pretty
Perfect for fall, VERY wearable, and beautifully done.
I like this Fall bangle. I agree, it is very wearable and would be cool stacked with other styles of bangles on your wrist.
Marie you did a wonderful job and a very creative bracelet. I liked the wire wrap. Excellent job.
Fantastic work!!
I love making these...you did a beautiful job with this one, love the color combination.
This is gorgeous. I am so sorry I missed out on this blog hop, but am so excited to see everone's creations - they're just beautiful.
I love making bangles w/sari ribbon and beads - it's so fun and yours is very fall looking. So much so that it puts me in the mood for cooler temps and apple cider!! Love it!
I really enjoyed seeing a wonderful way to use Red Creek Jasper! I love your combination and contrast of the soft sari with the wire firmly holding and shaping it. A lovely result!
