What are YOU up to?

I would love to hear about what you have been up to lately! Leave me a comment and let me know!
Here is a little of what I have been up to lately...
I spent most of the summer doing markets and trying to keep my kids from fighting! lol Always happy to start summer holidays, but even more happy to send them back to school! Love them to bits, but there is only so much one mama can take! I did have quite a bit of time to spend creating though, my husband is still out of work, so other than his practicum for school, he was home and able to help with the kids so I could work.
The pieces featured in the pictures are all recently made and recently sold! I am so blessed to have great local customers who keep coming back for more! I even have a little local shop that wants to carry my pieces. Hopefully this will be finalized soon and I will be able to share the good news with you all including the location! We have to sign some contracts and come to agreements, but it is looking really good!
I am now getting ready for the dozen or so Christmas markets I have booked. I am still hoping to book more of course, there are dates that are still open and I would certainly love to fill them! I am having a really good time meeting all the wonderful local people and sending them off with a smile on their faces. If any of you are reading this, Thank You for your patronage, it means the world to me!!
This week I have some amazing charms and pendants in the works! New items that have never been made before. I am very excited about these ones, and when they are ready I will share them with you on a new post! I have been working closely with a wonderful Graphic Designer name Ella Bouchard, she owns Calico Collage and we have been making magic with her images :) I really can't wait to show you!!

This necklace was made with Calico Collage's Clock sheet called Antique Clock Faces. She originally made this sheet at my request, because I was looking for some new clock images for a customer and I was not finding what I was looking for anywhere. Thanks Ella for all your hard work!

So come again soon, I will have some new things to post that you might like to see :)

...one more thing, I really hope you can follow my blog! I would love to reach 500 by Christmas ;)

Marie

I have that same sheet, got it last week!! LOVE IT!! Thanks for requesting it from her, lol! I want to talk to her about doing some custom ones for me in not so standard sizes. I love your jewelry Marie, so gorgeous! I thought I was busy doing 2 shows a month, I can't imagine doing 12 over the holidays!!! I'm guessing your next blog will be after Christmas! ; )

Your jewelry is beautiful as always, and I'm loving the new photos! I've been busy making new pieces for my Etsy shop, as well as a custome necklace for a new customer. I can't wait to see what you make next!

Hi Marie, your jewellery is so beautiful :) I love seeing your updates and new creations! I haven't been creating much, just trying to sell most of the stuff in my shop to get on with my move to Australia to live with my new hubby :) I miss your unicorn bead earrings ... I left them in Darwin, Australia, after my visit there this summer. I will be reunited with them early January if everything goes well with my visa application. Hugs to you, Jeanne

Thanks for the shout out to Calico Collage. The clock collage sheet is a great seller & I'm so glad you put in a request for them. I'm also loving the earrings I just got from you. They are my new faves! <3

Oh Marie... I just sigh happy sighs when I see your work. Always so romantic, always so beautiful... sweet perfection!

I have been up to... making jewelry! Or at least trying to, these little people in my house are a bit distracting (a feeling I know you know well ;) ). And I have tiles from you I have been working on. One is done I just need the sun to come out so I can photograph it! <3 <3

These pieces remind me of a walk through a very old, very lovely garden, grown more beautiful through time. Each item seems to have a piece of nature and history to share. Really wonderful "storytelling" as well as art!

I've just joined your blog and look forward to seeing more of your work! Congrats on being named "Designer of the Week" on the "Art Bead Scene!"
