Positives and Negatives!

I have been working on trying to keep my life positive. Sometimes it's hard especially when you are sick and suffer from strange side effects of medication. So I tried to start with the easiest things...
I needed to add to my earring inventory since I sent so many of mine to the Deer Valley Florist close to my house. They are hopefully selling well and I will need to make even more :)
So some simple wire wrapping was in order to test out my very numb and sore fingers. Some of the side effects of this second medication in my rounds of chemo include numb and tingly fingertips. Mine are mostly painful, but I needed to create!
Well, it was worth the pain :) I feel like a huge positive has come back to my life! The pain may be a negative, but it is worth the final creations that flourished from those sore fingers! I feel more alive! Huge positive! right?
I am very pleased with what I created. I think it will help get things going again on the creative horizons!! I even included my new Skye Jewels tag on the last bracelet! Another positive! I think they add something special to my jewelry! I am afraid to run out too fast or I would add one to all my pieces! We will see where that goes.

I have some pretty big goals right now that I am trying to accomplish. These are meant to be positives, but I am worried so it's partially a negative I want to change for the better!
I want to reach 500 followers on my blog, I want to reach 2000 likes on Facebook, I want to reach 300 sales in my jewelry shop and I want to reach 2000 sales in my supply shop! ALL before the the end of the year! BIG goals! I know! So of course I hope you will all help me reach these! lol I know, huge undertaking, but what is life without goals?

So until next time...

Marie

Oh my goodness, Marie! You should be VERY pleased with these designs. They're all beautiful, but I especially love the bracelet. So original! You are so amazing to me. I know you'll come through all this that much stronger, and you'll not only meet these goals, but go far beyond them. <3

Goals are good, Marie. It's what got me through chemo. I just kept thinking about the future and what I needed to do to get there. I think I might know one of the new drugs they have you on. Probably the same one I had. I got the tingling fingers and toes too. But 3 months later it has mostly passed. Stay positive my friend and all will be well and you can put this part of life well and truly in the past. Hugs

Goals, even the little bitty ones, are always in order- they are what keeps us going.

I have been reading your blog for quite some time but have not been a follower as I prefer a simple RSS feed. I just became a follower putting you closer to your goal; unfortunately, it will not increase your page views because I was already on that list.

Goals are important as they keep you on the path. Keep on creating, Miss Marie. You are called to create. And what you have made is beautiful.

Thinking of you...

Enjoy the day.

P.S. Did your package arrive?

Oh Marie. I hate that you are going through this you know that but in a way I think the inspiration that is making you create is so beautiful.. I see the darkness but there is always light. You are that light!

Nothing like some creative ideas that you absolutely MUST make a reality to take your mind of things! I'm so sorry for your sore parts! I used to get chemical burns on my hands from using detergents and bleaches in restaurants and it was torture! Even simple things like trying to put your clothes on, or pulling up the covers, was very painful. I can't imagine trying to work with wire with sore fingers! You are unstoppable! I love your lock and key earrings--wonderful! And that bracelet is very cool with all those little earthy beads on there-I have a couple of those giant lobster clasps, have to use one soon! One day soon, all that discomfort will be just a memory...Keep hanging in there, tough cookie!
